Oxford Friends of the Earth is a group of people working together to promote a healthy and sustainable environment. We encourage people across Oxfordshire to be active in driving meaningful, positive change that makes a lasting difference to our environment. We are one of 150 local groups in England and Wales that are part of the national Friends of the Earth organisation (which is one of 75 national groups across the world). Oxford Institute for Sustainable Development The Oxford Institute for Sustainable Development (OISD), founded in 2004, is one of the UK's largest research institutes dedicated to sustainable development research in the built and natural environments. OISD, which consists of eight distinct research groups, addresses the multiple dimensions of sustainable development and the synergies and processes that link them, through a multi- and inter-disciplinary approach.
